What Salvation Army will and will not take

The Salvation Army is one of the world’s largest providers of social services. The Salvation Army exists to meet human needs without discrimination. Some items we are unable to take due to safety, resettlement, or other reasons.

-We are unable to take baby cribs, car seats, or strollers due to safety reasons
-We are unable to take paint or chemicals of any sort due to the resettlement process
-We are unable to take Large appliances such as fridges or ovens.
-Furniture that is too large or bulky for us to move is also not something we can take.
However, here is a list of items we *can* take:
-Clothing for all ages and genders
-Shoes and accessories
-Household items such as pots, pans, dishes, silverware, small appliances, etc.
-Linens such as towels, sheets, blankets, etc.

Where to take items

The Salvation Army only picks up items that are in good, working condition. If you have an item that is in need of repair, please take it to a local repair shop or our Family Store nearest you. Our drivers are not allowed to enter homes or apartments to pick up items. Items must be located near the outside of the building (i.e. garage, carport, or driveway).
